Mountmellick Community School has Trocaire as it's official charity.
We had a 24 -hour fast on March 2nd 2001. It was in order to raise money
for the third world. The school raised £1750 through sponsorship,
non-uniform day and a collection by the 4th years on streets of Mountmellick.
The money raised this year is being used to help to free children who are
living in slavery.
